Enabling email notifications will send an email appointment notification internally and externally to your customers.
Note: Simply clicking the "Remove Location" button will not delete a location. "Save" must also be clicked in order to truly delete a location.
Required Fields (underlined in picture)
Enter in the name of the location associated to the Ship-To number in the text box provided.
Enter in the address of the location associated to the Ship-To number in the text box provided.
Enter in the phone number of the location associated to the Ship-To number in the text box provided.
Enter in the timezone of the location associated to the Ship-To number in the text box provided.
The Ship-To number is optional and is provided to all GSX customers by Apple. This allows access to the GSX API. This number is associated to a particular location of the same company. If your company has multiple locations use this entry to setup a location.
Note: Please enter the entire account number including any leading zeros. Must be a 10 digit number.
The Tech ID is optional and is provided to all GSX customers by Apple. This allows access to the GSX API. This ID is associated to an employee of the same company. If your company has multiple locations use this entry to setup a location.
Note: ID is alphanumeric and is 10 characters long.
Enables the email notifications for each location.
The email template sent out internally and externally to your customers based on location.
This entry establishes the internal employee notification email.
This section allows you to customize the contents and look of your email that is sent out to your customers.
This entry displays the name of the template currently selected.
The email logo utilized for all email templates.
Note: Only has to be uploaded once. Can be overwritten by uploading a new logo. For best overall look, use a transparent png file.
This entry establishes which email address is used to send out emails to customers.
To setup the Reply-To Email:
To setup your Email Subject simply enter the subject in the text box provided.
Select a Banner Color by clicking on the color block and selecting a color of your choice.
The content editor is a fully featured tool allowing you to easily build your customer email template.
Optionally, you can set up your template to send out specific content based upon the appointment type.

As a first-time user, a blank default template titled "Empty Template (Edit, Rename and Save Me)", is created for you. We encourage you to rename this. A default email template must always exist and cannot be deleted.

To set a new default email template:
There are two types of email templates that can be created, HTML and user-friendly.
In order to view or edit a template, click the "View/Edit" button.
A template may be deleted by clicking the red "trash" button. A warning dialog box will pop up to confirm deletion.
To switch from a user-friendly email template to an HTML template, click the "HTML Editor" button at the bottom of the Customer Email Notification panel. The same can be said when switching from a user-friendly template to an HTML template, except the button will display the opposite of the current template's type.
Note: Switching to a new template type will overwrite the previous template. A pop-up window will confirm the switch in order to prevent accidental clicks.
